HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS
Thirty seconds on what happens, in order. Your written proposal sets the details for your home.
The video is on its way. The transcript below and the steps beside it cover everything it shows.
Step 1. Book a free home assessment. Pick a day and time. We come to you. About two hours at your home.
Step 2. Choose your improvement. Your advisor walks you through what your home needs, and you approve a written plan.
Step 3. We get the work done. Agreement, permit, installation and final inspection, tracked step by step.
Step 4. Your inspection report, ready for your insurer. Your written proposal lists which inspection reports are included, such as a wind mitigation report. You download the report and share it with your insurance company.
Step 5. Your insurer decides any credits. They review the report and tell you which credits, if any, your home qualifies for.

Results are not typical. Across our published homeowner stories, premium reductions range from 17% to 78%, with a median of 36%. Many of these homeowners also changed insurance carriers. PAYMENT OPTIONS
We'll go over the options for your project together. You choose the payment plan that fits your budget.
Availability and approval depend on the provider, your project and its requirements.
Review APR, term, fees, payment amount and total repayment. Keep possible insurance or energy savings separate.
If the payment feels tight, we can talk about priorities or phasing the work. You can also use your own financing.
Prefer email? Email us about financing. Never send card, bank or Social Security numbers by email.
Read your provider's current disclosure before submitting. Prequalification and a full application can use different credit inquiries; prequalification does not guarantee approval or authorize installation.
PACE is repaid as an assessment through the property tax bill and is secured by a lien. Ask the provider about fees, escrow changes, repayment and what happens when you sell or refinance. Program and property eligibility must be confirmed. PACE repayment and lien information ↗
HSP and State Upgrades are not lenders. The financing provider sets its terms and makes the approval decision. See how the program works ↗
